Anzac Biscuits
This is my mother's take on the ubiquitous ANZAC biscuit.
Ingredients
- 120 g butter
- 1 tbsp golden syrup
- 120 g sugar
- 120 g flour
- 120 g rolled oats
- 120 g desiccated coconut
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 160° C (325° F)
- Melt butter and golden syrup together and add sugar to dissolve.120 g butter, 1 tbsp golden syrup, 120 g sugar
- Mix with flour, rolled oats. coconut and baking powder.120 g flour, 120 g rolled oats, 120 g desiccated coconut, 1 tsp baking powder
- Roll into small balls and flatten onto a greased oven tray.
- Bake for 15 minutes
- Turn onto a rack to cool and store in an airtight container.
